My artwork is an unconventional approach to exploring feminism and non-traditional ideas of beauty in a predominately bourgeois society. Through my work with printmaking, collage, and video, I offer an exploration of shifting contemporary visual dynamics and a play between contrasting color, fetishism, advertisement, liberation, and retaliation. My work is heavily inspired by greats such as Yayoi Kusama and Andy Warhol and is rooted in challenging and expanding our view of gender roles and gender dynamics, along with the complex feelings associated with the gaze of our opposite sex. My work seeks to provide a safe space to reflect back to society, the beauty of individual script, and ultimately to challenge oppressive beauty standards. Instagram
